Refreshing Summer Slaw

Ingredients:
2 to 2 1/2 pound head cabbage
2 large carrots, shredded (140 grams)
1/2 red onion, sliced thin (90 grams)
1 clove garlic, minced (4 grams)
2 tablespoons + 2 teaspoons @chosenfoods Traditional Mayo (38 grams)
1 tablespoon dijon mustard (15 grams)
3 tablespoons lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon pepper

Directions:
1. Cut the cabbage in half and then in fourths. Thinly slice each wedge. You should have about 1300 grams shredded cabbage. Add the cabbage to a large mixing bowl. Add the carrots, red onion, salt, and pepper.


2. In a small bowl, whisk together the garlic, mayo, and mustard. Add the sauce to the large bowl and gently stir the ingredients together. Allow the slaw to set for 5 minutes as the salt continues to pull water from the cabbage. Stir again until uniformly mixed. Serve.
